financial systems and solutions, Management Accountancy software’s, Payroll

 With regards to the untimely delivery of the
monthly Trial Balance and Balance Sheet returns as well as Annual Accounts
Statement returns, and the difficulties in preparing them, being it manually or
any other form for the District Assemblies Accounting and Financial Management
functions for effective management decision making, hence, D-R-V Consult (Ghana)

computerized Local Government  Accounting
and Financial Management Software for reliability, efficiency and stress free
for their financial and administration works.

 

In addition, these projects
have built-in components to improve the overall system of financial management
and reporting. On our thorough research, Metropolitan, Municipal and District
Assemblies current revenue bases are weak, and as a result, there is a little
or no financial capability to properly fund operation and maintenance of urban
infrastructure, therefore, some Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies
are depending on the Assemblies’ Common Fund for the provision of major
infrastructure, and provision of grants to meet recurrent bills. Revenue
Improvement Action Plans was introduced to identify the major revenue sources,
provide estimates of the revenue potential, and identify required actions and
responsibilities to be taken by the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies, hence the benefit of
information technology to address the many inadequacies of current accounting
and financial reporting. These inadequacies relate to some accounting software
on the market today, that doesn’t have basic accounting skills and background
to assimilate into function incredibly, cumbersome manual system of operation,
very limited and subjective Chart of Accounts, unrealistic budgets, and lack of
forward planning.
