Atharva ProcTek have invented processes for converting any form of waste plastic and nonedible oil into fuel. The process is expected to have a payback period of less than one year. The process for vegetable oil converts any form of edible or non-edible oil (such as jatropha, karanja, crude palm oil or any other vegetable oil) into fuel. The fuel obtained is similar to biodiesel, and is much cheaper than biodiesel. Fuels obtained from either waste plastic or non-edible oils can be easily used for power generation or simply can repleace traditional fuels such as FO, LDO and LSHS. Waste plastic importers, entreprenuers, municipal bodies, fuel intensive industries and non-edible oil plantations/traders that can either manage to get waste plastic or non-edible oils can benefit for this process.
