Our history, which began with the launch of development of mineral phosphate on the uninhabited South Seas island of “Rasa�(owned by our company, located approximately 408 km southeast of Naha city, Okinawa Prefecture), has been by no means uneventful. It has been ninety years since our establishment, during which time with your support we have overcome repeated crises such as withdrawal from businesses in fertilizers, mining, and smelting, changes in business conditions, undertaking new business challenges.
