Xinyi Glass (Holding) Co., Ltd. ("Xinyi"), which was founded in 1988 and listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (0868. HK), is a major manufacturer of a wide range of safety glass products used in automotive, architectural, household, electrical, aviation and shipbuilding industries. Xinyi ranked the first among the automotive glass exporters in China in 2004 according to the data provided by Chinese Customs.
Xinyi, occupying a total area of 900, 000 square meters, is equipped with over 30 fully automated production lines in its various plants. All the lines are equipped with the most advanced machines and technology from Finland, Italy, Austria, Germany and the United States.

In 2003, Xinyi committed an investment of an industrial site in Dongguan, Guangdong China. The new site is targeted to manufacture high-tech glass products such as low-E coated glass, solar-reflective glass, self-cleaning glass, fire-resistant glass, electronic glass, insulating glass and ultra-thin float glass, which forms a comprehensive products chain in Xinyi. In particular, the low-E coated glass production is a significant effort to be directed towards improving environmental performance.
Nowadays, Xinyi has become one of the largest safety glass manufacturers in China by offering more than 20, 000 part numbers to worldwide customers in over 100 countries, which is none to the second in glass processing industry. Besides that Xinyi has the national largest processing plant with the consumption capability of over 80, 000 tons float glass annually. For automotive windshields, Xinyi has the World largest single location plant with annual production of 4 million pieces. Apart from automotive windshields, Xinyi is also equipped with the most advanced tempered production lines and jumbo-sized bus windshield production lines as well, which enables Xinyi to be competitive in design, manufacturing and sales in the world market.
