Hefei Chemical Fertilizer Plant was built in 26th May 1958 through sanction by Anhui province government, it is one of thirteen national synthetic ammonia plants that annual output is 2000 tons, and it is also only one that nitrogenous fertilizer enterprise in Anhui province.

In the 28th Sep. 2002, Anhui Harvest Fine Chemical Industry Co., Ltd based on Hefei Jianghuai Chemical Fertilizer General Plant being the major sponsor is established.
