Beihai Luhai Biology Care Deli Co., Ltd. was found in 1993, the first enterprise in China engaged in development of spirulina platensis, which belongs to Farm of North Bay holding 300 thousand mus in the city of Bei Hai. Company LuHai of the city of Bei Hai has a manufacturing base in form of factory which occupies 39600 square meters, the annual yield is more than 200 tons, the capital of the enterprise develops from 6 millions yuan RMB registered in the very beginning to today's 1500 millions yuan RMB, nowadays, it has become one of hi-tech companies in considerable scale in China which puts research, raising, processing and marketing of spirulina all in one. The principal products of Company Lu Hai are the "LuXian" series-spirulina powder, spirulina tablets, spirulina capsules, selenium spirulina tablets, spirulina tablets with fruit flavour, spirulina granules, and spirulina solution.
Developed and produced by Company LuHai, the spirulina product series are completely natural and nutritious health food, which are one of the first to pass the evaluation by Department of Health of China and to be authorized as national "Health food" and are certified as "Green food" Grade A by China Green Food Development Center. The production of "Green fairy" spirulina has adopted ISO9001 international quality management system certification and ISO14001 environmental management system certification, its workshops have been certified as the Health food GMP sterile workshops. In 2004, the first China-ASEAN Expo has designated the "Green fairy" as the only brand of spirulina products.
