China National Nonferrous Metals Industry Trading Group Corp.

China National Nonferrous Metals Industry Trading Group Corporation CNITC has been formed as a trading corporation for the business of nonferrous metals mainly. CNITC is now subjcting to China Minmetals Group.

As a state-owned group corporation, CNITC owns several subsidiaries and group members, such as China National Nonferrous Metals Import & Export Corporation(CNIEC), Jin Peng Mining Development of Nonferrous Metal Corporation, China Nonferrous Metals Industry Resource Regenerating company, etc. in the mainland of China.

The main articles handled by CNITC for export are copper, aluminum, lead, zinc, tungsten, tin, antimony, magnesium, copper products, aluminum products, ferroalloys, electrical and mechanical products, etc.The main import commodities are alumina, copper concentrate, zinc concentrate, lead concentrate, manganese concentrate, complete sets of equipment, electrical and mechanical products, etc. The goods on the domestic market are coal and coke, heavy oil, coal pitch, etc. In 1999, CNITC has generated the total import and export volume accounted for 1.9 billion US dollars.

CNITC has developed its industries and business into different fields, such as ore-dressing, melting, deep-processing, new technology, storage & transportation, building & estate, advertisement & exhibition,  information industry, etc. The total investment for those development is about 1.5 billion RMB.

CNITC would play fully the role of bridge to promote the trade and cooperation between China and the world market.
