Established in 1973 , Podrej Steel & Iron Industry is a pioneer in the field of steel furniture manufacturing in Nepal. The company carried out its production from two manufacturing units 

1) Head manufacturing unit A and B based at Battishputali

2) Branch manufacturing unit C based in Pepsicola, Sanothimi. 

The Company carries out its core manufacturing activities under 4 major segments.

1) DOMESTIC AND HOUSEHOLD FURNITURE.

2) OFFICE FURNITURE.

3) PODREJ SEATING SYSTEMS.

4) PODREJ SECURITY SYSTEMS.
