The current conflict in the Darfur region?ne of the world? most lethal humanitarian crises?as displaced 1.9 million, forced 220,000 to seek refuge in Chad, and killed more than 200,000. Families have lost homes, are cut off from access to health care and food, and risk their lives conducting daily chores such as collecting firewood. In Darfur, Relief International provides relief and development support to women, children, and families struggling to survive each day with dignity.

For families whose lives have been disrupted by violence and displacement, access to basic non-food items is extr
emely limited. RI distributes basic supplies, such as soap, clean delivery kits, women? cloth, mosquito nets, plastic sheeting for shelter, and kitchen utensils to meet emergency relief commodity needs for 49,000 of the most vulnerable people in North Darfur.
