As the origin from a State Own company that had operated from 1976, it had been equitized from 1998 and named Thot Not General Commercial Company. And it has been renamed as Gentraco Corporation from 01/2007 as following:

Throughout the history of more than 30 years of establishing and developing, Gentraco Corporation has been built and asserted trade name in both domestic and foreign markets step by step. Exporting rice with Gentraco trade name has penetrated in almost main markets in Asia, Asean, Europe, Africa, and Middle Western. Besides, many kinds of rice with Miss Can Tho and Co Trang trade names are always the best choice and belief of domestic customers.



Gentraco Corporation is one of the leading rice exporters in Vietnam. From 2002 to 2005 Gentraco Corporation had been in the 5th of Vietnamese rice exporters and 4th grade in 2006. As per evaluation of Vietnam Food Association, Gentraco Corporation is reputable supplier with high volume in recent years. Gentraco Corporation is also a member of VCCI, and Gafta.
