Founded in March 1989, and with a total business turnover reaching RMB17 billion(USD2050 million) in 2005. Xuzhou Construction Machinery Group Co., Ltd. (XCMG) has become the largest developing, manufacturing, and export concern for construction machinery in China. Operating under a national 863/CIMS engineering project, it is also currently one of key 520 enterprises in our country and has been chosen as one of the premier groups of the selected 120 National Enterprises in all of China.

Persisting in an enterprise sprit of " Strictness, Dependence, Advance, Innovation" and implementing an industrial diversification strategy based on construction machinery manufacturing, XCMG has established a technological development system led by its national classified TC through which a larger number of high tech, high value added products have been initiated continually. The primary products and basic components are as follows: Serious hydraulic cranes, road compaction and surfacing machinery, earth moving and loading machinery, concrete equipment, aerial fire fighting trucks, special purpose vehicles, special chassis for construction equipment, slewing ring bearing, hydraulic components, cabins, diesel engines, gear box, gear pumps etc. Amongst them 60% have positioned the leading place domestically while 10% have reached the present world advanced level.

XCMG has ever been pursuing its advancement through continuous reforms, from the entity transformation during its primary stage, then share hold restructuring until establishment of Modern Enterprise System, which have resulted in a mother and sister company system connected by property ownership. Now the Group is composed of 26 sub-ordinate exclusive sister companies, share holding companies, and sharecorporations, etc. It has established the regular managerial structure under the legal person's responsibility, creating an integrated corporation institution by which the decision making board, supervising body, executive body are moderated and restrained one another.

We have been adhered to the policy of export-orientation and developed international co-operation programs with many leading companies in the world. XCMG has brought into existence a total of 14 joint ventures with international high profile organizations such as Catpilliar(U. S. ), Liebherr( Germany ), Krupp( Germany ) and so on, which belong to world's top 500 enterprises. With the authorization from the State Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations, the Group has set up a provincial level Imp. And Exp. Company, which is committed to the whole Group's international exploring strategy corner-stoned by its over-seas marketing programs. With the establishment of 9 over-seas representative offices and 3 joint ventures in foreign countries, which serve as inter-links of product sales, accumulating world advanced technology, and feedback of customers' requirements, the Group has found its major markets in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, South and North America, etc. The export volume has reached USD120 million in 2005.
