Company Description

Nutrafur S.A. is a world leader in developing, manufacturing and marketing natural
plant extracts. 
Nutrafur was set up in
1998 and is a young and innovative spanish company whose purpose is to use
scientific knowledge to get the best out of nature. This is the reason why we
manufacture 100% natural extracts using healthy raw materials and
environmentally friendly processes. 
Our special
manufacturing processes are designed by our
R&D+i Department and enable us to provide customers with a wide
range of natural extracts containing high concentrations of active ingredients
and to tailor make our products specifically to our customers requirements.

Nutrafur’s natural extracts are used by customers in the food, nutraceutical,
cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.

Citrus Bioflavonoid Complex

The citrus extracts contain bioflavonoids as its active ingredient with
multiple properties, being the most significant the following:

  • cardiovascular
    protection
  • circulatory
    peripheral disorder
  • hypocholesterolemic
  • weight control
  • antioxidant
  • sunscreen

Nutrafur CBCs include extracts from sweet orange (Citrus sinensis), sour
orange (Citrus aurantium) and grapefruit (Citrus paradisi), its active
ingredients are hesperidin and naringin, respectively.

These natural extracts are measured by HPLC and have a wide range of
qualities to meet the customer needs. These extracts are standardized in a
powder form which are partially soluble in water, having also a water-soluble
version for bitter orange and grapefruit extracts.

Citrus sinensis-sweet orange extracts, measured by HPLC with 30%, 35%,
40%, 50%, 60% and 80% total bioflavonoids expressed as hesperidin.

Citrus aurantium, bioflavonoid complex watersoluble is a natural extract
made from bitter oranges. It contains a minimum of 45% (measured by HPLC) total
bioflavonoids expressed as naringin.



























Citrus paradisi-grapefruit extract, this is a light brown powder,
soluble in water, with a characteristic bitter tastel. It contains 45%, 65%
total flavonoids, measured by HPLC and expressed as naringin.


SunOlive® Hydroxytyrosol is an extract from the vegetation waters of olive
fruit, after olive oil production, containing a high concentration of
Hydroxytyrosol, obtained by Nutrafur’s patented process. Hydroxytyrosol is a
natural phenolic compound with a high antioxidant capacity and with beneficial
recognized properties for cardio-vascular health.

Green Olive Leaf Extract 

Nutrafur is the first olive extract manufacturer worldwide. The olive
extract is obtained from the leaf and is valued at oleuropein measured by HPLC.
Our quality reaches 40% active, and can be standardized according to every need
of our customers. Due to its excellent properties, this product has applications
both in the field of nutraceutical and cosmetics, food, feed, for their
antioxidant, antimicrobial and its many positive effects on the cardiovascular
system.

This extract is a yellowish green powder with a characteristic odor and
a slightly bitter taste. It is partially soluble in water, methanol and ethanol.

Rosemary

Nutrafur is one of the main rosemary extracts manufacturer worldwide. We
put our expertise into adapting the rosemary extracts to the specific
requirements of our clients and advising them on how to use and apply the
products.

Rosemary extracts antioxidants are effective when used in: animal fats,
mayonnaise, margarine, vegetable oils and fats, Omega 3, dried fruit and nuts,
meat products, paprika and spices, feed, pet food and drinks.

These natural extracts are measured by HPLC and have a wide range of
qualities to meet the customer needs. These extracts are standardized in a
powder form which are soluble in water, alcohols or oils, depending of active
ingredient concentration.

    HPLC.

extract, with standards of 6%, 70% carnosic acid measured by HPLC.
