Wild Wax

Introduction

Committed to excellence, we are engaged in the
collection, refining and purification of the Wild Bees Honey and Wild Bees (Apis
Ghedda) Wax, which is markedly different from the domesticated bees (Apis
Mellifica) Wax, available in the world market. Ghedda bees are found only in
Indo-Pak subcontinent. We collect the finest Honey and Honey Combs from the
wilds and woods of the countryside. Then this collection of selected Honey and
Honey Combs is processed at a high grade technology resulting in our Wild Honey
and WildWax.

CHEMISTRY

Bees Wax is composed of myricyl palmitate (C15H31COOC30H61), cerotic (C27H55COOH) and
homologous acids with small amounts of hydrocarbons, cholesterol esters and
ceryl alcohols. But our WildWax has ceryl, C28 alcohol grouping in place of
myricyl as the principal palmatic ester.

SOLUBE IN

Benxol, benzene, carbon tetracholoride, choloform,
dioxon, isopropyl ether, tetralin, turpentine and in hot amyl alcohol and
acetone. It is partially solube in cold ether hot alcohol. It mixes with fats,
resins and other waxes when melted with them. It is easily saponified by
alkalies.

PHYSICAL FACTS

Beeswax varies in color from a deep brown to light
yellow. The color is dependent upon the type of flower from which the bee has
procured the pollen and the age of the hive. It has an aromatic taste and does
not adhere to the teeth or become pasty when chewed. It is plastic, when
kneaded by the hand but hard and breaks with a snap when it is bent in the
cold. PCSIR Laboratory has certified WildWax to meet the following standars
through letter Number ACRC/RA/2001/1828:

WildWax USES

Pharmaceutical industry (ointment bases, Vaseline),
confectionary and food industry (chewing gums, sweetmeats etc), cosmetic industry
(skin creams and lotions, hair tonic, lip sticks, toilet preparations etc.),
Lacquer and color industry (dressing, polishing, water proofing leather), arms industry
(cartridge coating).
