Our emergency care department grew out of a two-fold need in the community. First, pet owners needed a quality, 24-hour emergency hospital that provided continuous medical care for their pets. Secondly, veterinarians in the central Long Island area needed a high-quality resource to which they could refer emergency cases when their offices were closed.
