Amsar Private Limited, a company founded in 1963 that pioneered the concept of Full Spectrum standardized Extracts.

Amsar has been the primary manufacturer of active ingredients for over 45 years with a wide range of standardized actives for nutritional, pharmaceutical and cosmetic use. 

From a humble beginning, Amsar has grown to a multi location manufacturer of high quality extracts and herbal products.

Amsar was India’s first private R & D laboratory to be recognized by the Govt of India, in 1987 U.N.I.DO , Vienna appointed Amsar as a consultant in the field of extracts, in 1989 Amsar was Awarded a National Quality Award for the best Ayurvedic Extracts in India. In 2005 Amsar’s Director Dr Vikram Naharwar was appointed as an expert by the government of India’s Pharmacopoeia committee, in 2007 Dr Naharwar was appointed to the American Herbal Pharmacopoeia as an expert Advisor, in 2010 Amsar was appointed by Ayush as a consultant for developing monographs for the proposed Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia of India.
