Elmac is a modern completely independent shellfish farming unit in Maliakos Gulf, Central Greece with expertise in farming & commerce of shellfish [warty venus (venus verrucosa), horse mussels (modiolus barbatus) and cock shells (callista chione)] and especially mussels (mytilus galloprovincialis).
Today, the annual mussel production is approximately 400 tonnes exclusive of warty venus, horse mussels and cock shells.
