Company Description
We are a historical company from North Italy (Veneto), which since 1946 produces nodular cast iron, ni-hard cast iron, grey cast iron and special castings.
On 25 October, 1999, we earned UNI EN ISO 9002 Quality System Certification, and on 04 December 2002, we earned UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 Quality System certification.
Our plants are:
· Two 8-tons rotating oxygen-methane furnaces, combined with a 40-ton holding furnace.
We can produce castings ranging from 0,50 to 800 kgs.
· One impulsed air plant with a 700x900x300+300 moulding box, installed in 2000, which has been operating at full capacity since the beginning of 2001; output 150 boxes per hour with a moulding box weight until 200 kgs;
· One 1000x1400x500+500 automatic plant with rammer head; moulding box weight 150-800 kgs.
Our current production capacity is 10,000 tons per year, which is a considerable increase over the past. In particular, with the recent installation of the 700x900 plant, new opportunities have been created even for the large series market, although the firm remains strategically placed on the small and medium series market.
We have a material test laboratory with an "ARL" quantometer for alloy analysis control and a tensile stress trial machine for UNI standard testing. Line controls are normally performed at our foundry, along with thermal and quantometric chemical analyses with a "SPECTRO" quantometer, hardness testing and visual controls. We can perform MT and US testing by outsourcing an external laboratory.
The cores and all deburring, finishing, cleaning and painting operations are outsourced from qualified sub-suppliers.
