AMMCO was established as a Saudi limited liability company having its business place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to be a major leading company in the field of geological research, mining and quarries management in both KSA and the Arab region in addition to supply raw materials for various industries.

The company has worked to attract qualified distinguished skilled human resources for developing this industry and supporting works of quarries in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in particular and the Arab world in general. AMMCO activities include all kinds of geological research, designing and management of quarries, evaluation of raw materials, quality control, rock blasting services and supply of raw materials. In such a wide range of activities, the company takes into account the critical importance of environment and its preservation as well as following the guidelines of the Industrial Safety Department through training workers and raising their awareness at all levels in order to apply sound procedures and practices that preserve the environment with a commitment to apply rules of professional safety and security.

Studies & Research:

The geological, geophysical and geotechnical researches & studies are one of

the most important services AMMCO is going to provide them to clients,

because the great importance of these studies in the success of projects that

depends on the minerals essentials as main inputs in the production process:

1.     Complete Geological investigation programs:

·        Field Prospecting.

·        Preparation and execution of core drilling gird

·        Preparation & selection of core samples (Splitting & Crushing).

·        Execution of chemical analysis and physical tests.

·        Preparing of Geological and topographic Maps.

·        Rock Age Determination (Micropaleontology).

·        Evaluation of the geological studies.

·        Application of “SURPAC” & other specialist software for

preparing the databases and achieving the following:

of size, shape, depositional environment and mode of

occurrences.

2.     Identify the reserve of raw materials & minable reserve and

2.     Geophysical prospecting

These studies are the first stage for preparation the geological studies in large projects (airports, dams and international roads - nuclear reactors - pipelines and water lines) by using:

·        Seismic prospecting (Shallow Seismic reflection)

·        Electric prospecting

·        Magnetic prospecting

After data processing stage, which obtained from one of the geophysical survey methods, our experts will prepare maps, subsurface cross sections for vertical and lateral variation in physical properties and elaboration of visual models for:

·        Determine the variation in rock hardness

·        Determine the thickness of sediments, subsurface strata and depth of the

basement.

·        Determine sediment physical properties.

·        Determine the characteristics of aquifers, forms and sizes of rock

masses, caves and voids under the surface and buried objects.

3.     Complete Geotechnical Investigations

Based on the company's vision and market survey of urban development witnessed in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the desire was created for developing the fields of services provided by us for preparation of complete geotechnical investigations to help clients identify locations of sensitive buildings and large establishments and identify geotechnical factors and mechanical characteristics of the sites foundations (Bearing Capacity, landslide and other factors) by implementing the following activities:

blasting equipment in the Middle East. As a result, AMMCO blasting

department can undertake the following services on behalf of our
