Company Description

GRACIE COMBATIVES

The Fastest Way to Street Readiness. Guaranteed.

Gracie Asia is proud to be the first official Gracie Training Centre in Asia. The Gracie Academy is the founding school of Brazilian Jiu‐Jitsu and also the most established and respected.

Although Gracie Jiu‐Jitsu consists of over 600 techniques, studies of the fights conducted by members of the Gracie Family have shown that 36 techniques have been used more often and with greater success than all the other techniques combined.

Originally developed for the U.S. Army, Gracie Combatives is the only course that entirely dedicated to the mastery of these 36 essential techniques. This system has been introduced into the US Army, US Special Forces, Delta Force, Navy Seals, US Air Force, US Marine Corps, US Coast Guards, FBI, CIA, US Border Patrol, US Secret Service, US State and local law enforcement agencies. Now, you can equip yourself with the same personal protection skills learnt by these elite forces.

Gracie or Brazilian Jiu‐Jitsu is a fighting system based on joint manipulation and chokes, focusing exclusively on ground combat.

Proven over the last 80 years to be the most reliable system for a smaller person to defeat a larger, more athletic opponent, the techniques of Gracie Jiu‐Jitsu are based on precise timing and effective use of leverage so that virtually anyone can do them, regardless of size or athletic ability. This is especially useful for ladies and Asians who are smaller sized than our Caucasian counterparts.

Together with our sister company – Kapap Academy Singapore, we are dedicated to empowering ordinary people with realistic personal protection skills.

To that end, our programmes have been introduced into various institutions in Singapore, such as Singapore Management University, Temasek Polytechnic, National Junior College, ACS International, and Victoria School etc. It has also been introduced into organizations such as the Economic Development Board, Lenovo, Hewlett

‐Packard Alumni, Temasek Holdings, Pacific International Lines, and Girls’ Brigade.
