10. Standards and Steel Grade:

      The steel sheet piles shall confirm to the following standards and steel grades:<o:p></o:p>

      En 10248 (1995), Grade S270 GP or JIS- A5528 (2006) Grade SY – 295 or  <o:p></o:p>

      equivalent.

      In relation with this, the Bidder must submit (i) a proof that the sheet piles confirm to <o:p></o:p>

      one of the above named Standards or (ii) a proof that the sheet piles confirm to  <o:p></o:p>

      another standard and a proof that this other standard is equivalent to one of the above <o:p></o:p>

      named standards in both (i) and (ii), the proof must be issued by an organization /<o:p></o:p>

      agency internationally reputed for this of certification.

11. Tolerance: as per above-mentioned Standards.<o:p></o:p>

12. The required Inspection and Tests prior to shipment of Goods and at final acceptance <o:p></o:p>

      are described in SCC Clause 7.<o:p></o:p>

13. The Delivery and Documentation requirements of the Goods are described in SCC<o:p></o:p>

      Clause 9.<o:p></o:p>

14. The Purchaser shall not accept the steel piles if the Manufacture’s factory inspection<o:p></o:p>

      and tests do not confirm to the specifications provided in the Contract.<o:p></o:p>

15. The Purchaser reserves the right to adjust, within reasonable limits, the quantity of<o:p></o:p>

      Steel sheet pile to be procured, in line with the available budget.<o:p></o:p>

16. All Cold Formed or Cold Pressed steel sheet piles are excluded from the present<o:p></o:p>

      Technical Specifications and Bid.<o:p></o:p>
