Simpli Gourmet

Simply Gourmet, a new company that manufactures and distributes food products, cookbooks and kitchen accessories will open it's doors in February 2006. Local company will have it's warehouse and offices in Gonzales. The company's President and principal investor is Eugene Ji. The company's CEO is Gaye Sandoz. Gaye also handles all of the marketing and sales of the company.

Simpli Gourmet was actually founded in the LSU Business and Technology Center under the direction of Charlie Dagostino. Gaye Sandoz created and developed a Simpli Gourmet Cheesecake Kit called "Cheesecakes for all Occasions". The kit was sold to Cajun Injector and accepted by QVC. Gaye was the QVC Account Manager and Product Developer for Cajun Injector. The kit was very successful and sold out on QVC the first three shows.

Gaye has been in the food business for 28 years beginning her career at a young age of 5 cooking in her Mother's kitchen. Attending Southeastern Being from Opelousas, La, she comes from a long line of great cooks. Her expertise is in creating and producing delicious and unique food products and cookbooks and previously owned a food marketing and consulting company. Simpli Gourmet's Gourmet's products and recipes are available on www.simpligourmet.com's website and local stores. The new cookbook Simpli Gourmet's "Simply Big Cookies, Desserts and More" is available in local stores.

Simpli Gourmet will began an aggressive marketing plan and plans to promote their products in many avenues.
