registered as private limited liability companies (generally known as private

A private limited corporation in Singapore is thought to be a separate legal
entity and its own shareholders are not liable for the company's debts beyond
the sum of share capital they have contributed (as the word limited liability
describes). Based on Singapore Companies Act, any person (foreign or local)
over the age of 18 can register a Singapore company.
