COTERENA was founded in 1990 with staff from the well-known Engine Manufacturing Company DEUTZ  (previously known as BARRERAS lic. DEUTZ), lately growing with the Technicians from the well-known company TALLERES BALIÑO, S.A., after the close of that company, with the idea of continuing service maintenance and general repairs for Diesel Engines.

From the beginning, the company has increased its services, dealing with all mechanical peripherals and devices with regard to engines, machinery in general, and also extending its activity to Inland Power Plants like Cogeneration Engines, reaching a potential of certain importance that places us in a position of the first order on our market.
