Dalian Machine Tool Group Corporation (abbr. as DMTG), the largest machine tool and key components manufacturer in China, has vast machinery developing and manufacturing competence and foundry-to-finished part capability. In 2000, the former state-owned Dalian Modular Machine Tool Research Institute was merged into DMTG, which enhances the group's product developing capability significantly.



Among its 6,229 employees, 815 of them are engineers and technicians. A totally new manufacturing facility "DMTG CNC Machine Tool Manufacturing Park" in the Hi-Tech Zone "DD Port" of Dalian city has been located and launched on an area of 500,000sqm in 2005. An even bigger manufacturing part, covering an area of 700,000sqm, is being established in the satellite city Wafangdian City and has started production in May 2006.

DMTG ranks NO. 1 in China for sales in year 2000-2005 and is the 7th largest machine tool manufacturer all over the world in year 2005. The sales income in 2005 is up to 7.65 billion RMB. DMTG has established an international sales network in the world, including around 17 sales offices and 25 sales staff overseas as along as three subsidiary overseas manufacturing company and one subsidiary overseas sales company DMTG Europe in Italy.
