Teksan Water and Flow Meters

Teksan, founded in Istanbul in 1955, is the first water meter factory

of Turkey. Our current group consists of four companies operating in our two

facilities located in the Bilecik Organized Industrial Estate and in

Istanbul over an open area of 60.000m2 and a closed area of 12.000m2.

It has the integrated plants designed to meet all the requirements, such as bronze casting, die casting and processing lines, finishing automation

shops, electrostatic paint plants, cold and hot forging lines, molding

shops, and a plastic injection plant consisting of CNC machinery, and of

quality assurance and of calibration laboratories. Teksan is

manufacturing all parts at its own facilities resting on its specialized workforce of 500 people. Our subsidiary industry dependency is only on raw materials.



After having completed our infrastructural efforts parallel to our

country's EU membership drive, we equipped our regulation and calibration

laboratories with the most sophisticated technology available today. Our

firm, always being the pioneer in the field of meters, has the pride of

having the first Accredited Laboratories in Turkey in measuring devices

industry. Our production capacity is 1.5million water meters and

100,000 flow meters of various kinds.



Since 1996, Teksan has improved its product quality by focusing on

technological improvements as well as research and development, which

resulted a 50% rise in its local market share from 40% to 60%. We are

planning to increase our capacity further by 100% through new investments to be made on the facilities in five years ahead, thereby achieving an annual marketing figure of 2 million pieces. Having water meters and flow eters ranging from 15mm to 800mm in its product line, as well as ultrasonic, magnetic, insertion flow meters, Teksan is able to meet any metering requirements of any kind and dimension.
