EL.P. founded in 1978 as an electronic design office, has then increased its action-ray in the automation processes (therefore also in the mechanics, pneumatics)



Nowadays EL.P. produces and markets the "SPHEROX" (projected by us and presented in the exhibition "Index" in Geneve in 1984), electro-pneumatic machines for the realization of round surgical sponges.



The advantages of the sponges produced by Spherox consist in that they are ready to use (the square multiply compresses must be folded before use), and the dead bacterias number, after sterilization, in handmade sponges is about 10.000 times higher than the number reached by the production of Spherox.



Thanks to their versatility and diffusion (over 80 machines all around the world), our machines are in a market leader position, being the concurrents off of target for productivity or cost.

At the moment a revolutionary continuously variable transmission for cars (CVT) patented in all of the world by us is in an advanced testing phase and a new machine for the production of folded compresses is going to be constructed.
