Company Description
Riviera Clay Phils., Inc. has been operating since 1986 and was incorporated in 1990. The company is known as a manufacturer and exporter of Philippine handicrafts.
Over the years, it has developed expertise in handcrafted pots, jars, vases, planters, wall plaques, candleholders, candle votives, decorative plates and bowls. Products are hand painted, cold painted and/or with glazed different designs. To date, it has expanded by combining with other materials like metals such as bronze, brass, copper, wrought iron, glass and other natural materials like raffia, abaca rope, sea grass and vines, etc.
The company has been awarded one of the 1998 Golden Shell Awardees for Design and Marketing Excellence by the Department of Trade and Industry. It won the Best Product Collection and had been nominated for Best Booth Display at the xxxxx Gifts, Toys and House wares Market Week held every April and October in Manila.
The factory is 1.5 hectares located in San Pablo Propio, San Simon Pampanga. It has 50 employees and 400 workers.
The factory has the following facilities:
1. (1) Thermic Dryer from the United Kingdom
2. Four (4) gas kilns of 15 cbm capacity per kiln
3. Three (3) wood kiln of 12 cbm capacity per kiln
4. Generator unit set as back up in case of power loss
5. Clay preparation equipment capable of processing 40 tons of clay daily
Therefore presently, factory output is 80,000 â?? 100,000 pcs per month. Production lead time is 60 â?? 90 days. We are shipping 28% of our products to European countries, 55% to United States, 12% to Canada, while the rest to our neighboring countries such as Australia and Japan.
