Sekasi Imports

Sekasi Imports is a family run company that deals specifically with importing passion fruits directly from Uganda. The fruits are grown on the Rwenzori Mountain Ranges, in Western Uganda by a group of farmers. The soil in this region is virgin and has not been tampered with. It is the fertility of the rich soils that produces the uniquely exotic taste associated with Ugandan Passion Fruits. Indeed it has been found that considerably more juice can be extracted from these passion fruits than their counterparts from any other part of the world.

We import the passion fruits with the help of Modern Agricultural Innovations (MAI) LTD. MAI is responsible for collecting the passion fruits from the Farmers and shipping directly to Sekasi Imports. MAI can provide Health Certifications, Country of Origin Certifications and Export Trade Licensing. Certification can also be provided to show that the passion fruits were grown organically without any fertilizer or pest control chemicals. The fruits will have a Euro 1 movement form issued by the Uganda Export Promotion Board. They will also have Phyto-Sanitary certification from the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries. All shipments will be inspected by the Veterinary Inspection division.
