Ou company appeared in 1974, when, at this time with the Harald name, a helical antenna developed in a creative solution for local telephone company, whose project more than provided the double of the performance of similar antennas. Due to reached receptivity, other types of antennas UHF had been launched. In 1975 research had been initiated aiming at the production of passive reflectors of SHF that substituted the imported ones, generating for the country a significant economy of verge. Today our company is the only manufacturer of passive reflectors of the country. In 1976 the company entered in the market with a new model of tower, more rigid and of less weight, earning with this bigger economy in the manufacture, foundation, transport and installation. In 1976, due to demand of products and services, it was initiated the construction of the new headquarters at the Industrial City. Later, great successe had been reached, as the competition was won for the implantation of Carajas Project. Brasilsat was established in 05 / 31 / 84, starting to supply the demand of a market of more advanced technology, fact that comes guiding its philosophy. In 1988 it had the incorporation of HARALD for BRASILSAT, appearing the BRASILSAT HARALD name. During its period of growth they had been acquired and incorporated some other companies to take care of to the demands of the market. The Coaxial Electronics, for the production of connectors and components, the Radiating one, for the production of multicouplers and the UNISAT, for the equipment manufacture of reception of signals saw satellite. With the objective to guarantee the standard of living of its employees when of the retirement, the BrasilSat Foundation was instituted in 1997, that is an entity of Private Providence. The current structure of the company was defined in 1998, with the creation of the Divisions of Shelters and Antennas for Cellular Communication. Also the Division of Engineering, was created for the integration of products and services, configuring definitively BRASILSAT as a supplying company of solutions. Today the industrial park of BRASILSAT is composed of two great industrial units, being one located in the Industrial City of Curitiba and to another one in Santa Candida block, distant 8 downtown km, in extremely privileged area.

The total of constructions in both the 50, 000 approximately units reaches m2, distributed in a total area of 400. 000 m2, including offices of administration, restaurant, audience, laboratories, fields of tests, milling, galvanization, plant of connectors and components, plant of towers, plants of antennas and plant of shelters. Additionally is being constructed in Admiral Tamandare a new unit manufacturer for the production of shelters, with 20. 000 m2 in an area of 500. 000 m2. Currently the company employs 550 employees in its personnel, of which 80 of superior level.
