BS MARINE (P) LTD is one of Indiaâ??s leading Exporter of Fresh Frozen Seafood Products. The Company is sourcing and processing high quality seafood to produce frozen shrimps, fish and other marine products for the purpose of exports such as Shrimps-Black Tiger, Sea Tiger, Sea White, Pink, Brown, Karikadi / Poovalan, PUD its. Fish-Ribbon Fish, Cuttle Fish, Sole Fish, Croaker, Squid. Crab-Blue Swing Cut Crab, 3 Spot Cut Crab and export them to global clients in the international market. On the basis of various market studies indicate a shift in the taste of the world population in favour of seafood. This created a tremendous market for marine products in the international market. The marine products are exported in the form of live, chilled, dry, frozen, semi-cooked and cooked etc. Our Company efforts in export quality and nutritive frozen seafood products have enabled us to attract the clients (foreign buyers) from around the world.



We ensure to provide seafoods that are well processed of International Standard, hygienically packed and timely delivered. Orissa, India is one of the largest landing centers for seafood due to its vast coast line of more than 400 km. (approx) and the large brackish water Chillika Lake. So, there will not be any problem for us to arrange required volume of raw sea foods for export. Our entire range of seafood remains fresh and retains the flavour and nutritive quality. The Company is promoted and managed by experienced & skilled employees having vast knowledge in our export activities are being carried out by them on culture, catching, fishing etc. All employees work in close association with one other and mutual understanding among them to satisfy & fulfill the requirements of our valued clients / foreign buyers.



Process & Freezing



The raw material comprises head on or head-less Shrimps. These are packed in bamboo or fiber baskets with adequate ice at the collection centers and transported with adequate ice at the collections centers and transported to the processing plant through refrigerated & insulated van.







a) Shrimps: At the processing plant the iced shrimps are washed with fresh water to bring down to normal temperature. Then head-on materials are be-headed manually. Then the head less materials are screened & graded according to verify & size and kept in aluminum pans marked xxxxx Black Tiger and xxxxx other verity of materials and some chemicals and fresh water are added. The pans are kept in plate freezer for 1 to 1.5 hours at (-) 40 degree centigrade where materials are converted to iced slabs. These slabs are kept in small cartoons and later in master cartoons. The master cartoons are stored in frozen stores at (-) 18 degree centigrade till export.



b) Fishes: At the processing plant the iced fishes are washed with fresh water to bring down to normal temperature and cleaned. Then the fished are screened and graded according to verify and size and kept in trays marked 10kg. some chemicals and fresh water are added. The trays are kept in racks inside the blast freezer room for 1 to 1.5 hours at (-) 40 degree centigrade where materials are converted to iced slabs. These slabs are kept in cartoons.



c) Crabs: Cut Crabs 0.800 / 0.700 grams duplex carton per block & 12

blocks put in a master cartoon. Each master cartoon weighing 9.6 / 8.4

Quality



Our objective to export quality products, our entire seafood products comply with all national and international standards. During production process samples are drawn at various stages by quality control department and inspection are done through organoleptic and bacterial tests at the Export Inspection Agency approved laboratory at processing plant & packed in hygienically. Our each consignment is completely inspected & certified by quality control department to ensure quality as per national & international standard.



Packing



The packaging unit is well equipped with advanced technology and sophisticated machines that ensure safe packaging. We offer safe transportation of these edible seafood items in the global market at less overhead charges.



Storing



The finished products of cartoons are being stored in frozen stores at (-) 18 degree centigrade till export of that product.
