Nanjing Sanle Group Co., Ltd.

Nanjing Sanle General Electric Corporation (National Nanjing Electron Tube Works) is one of the biggest export-oriented and comprehensive backbone enterprises of China's electronic industry. Its predecessor is the Electric Research Laboratory established in 1935 of Resources Committee of National Government. In 1951 it was extended to the first manufacturer specialized in electron tube in new China. And in 1987 it started to use another name Nanjing Sanle General Electric Corporation. Now the Corp. has over 5, 200 staff and workers, 1, 300 of which are engineers and technicians and over 300 of which have high-ranking technical titles.

After dozens of years' development, it has formed a complete scientific research, production and marketing system. It's engaged in research and manufacture of diversities of high-technical products, including microwave vacuum electronic devices with high performance, laser device and its appliance, microwave energy application equipment, high pressure sodium lamp, metal halide lamp and luminaires, high pressure sphere-shaped xenon lamp, compact fluorescent lamp, fully automatic washing machine, domestic microwave oven, glass and ceramic products, special electric equipment, vacuum equipment and large plastic injection moulds etc. It also offers excellent service of design and engineering of lighting project.

The corporation has been undertakingthe tasks of R&D and production of national defence and key engineering projects in its history. It owns abundant economic and technical strength and has developed and manufactured over 600 kinds of new products, nearly 100 of which filled in the gaps of technology of China. It has manufactured the first piece of signal receiving-transmitting amplifier tube, the first piece of microwave electron tube, the first set of microwave energy applied equipemnt, the first set of fully automatic washing machine and the first microwave oven in China.

The corporation regards science and technology as motive force and product quality as life. For over 100 products and important technological projects have been awarded by scientific and technical achievement rewards and high quality prizes of the level of nation, province, municipality and the ministry, including two National Gold Prize, two Silver Prizes, one National Invention Prize and three National Scientific and Technology Progress Prizes.
