ARA Network Technologies was founded in 1999 by a group of Ph. D. candidates of KAIST, one of the most prestigious science and technology universities in Korea.

Using their research experience in computer networks, th
ey developed ITM (Internet Traffic Management) solutions.  ARA Network Technologies products are mostly to enhance internet speed and reduce network bandwidth costs. Their main products include Jaguar3000, a high-performance web caching solution, which has achieved the highest cache performance at the 4th cache-off. This has proved ARA Network Technologies' capability as a technology-intensive development company. Other products include Layer 4 switch, CDN solution and P2P traffic management solution.
