Lapsang Tea Industry CO., Ltd, located in National-level Nature Reserve zone of Wuyi Mountain in Fujian Province, east south of China, It is the only company which produces authentic Wuyi Bohea and the Lapsang Souchong Tea, and it is the largest organic tea producing company in Fujian Province. It is one of the Key enterprises supported by the Chinese government Depending on the fast developing for these years, the company has won the certificates of organic food certificate from BCS (Germany), JAS(Japan), and NOP(U. S. A. ). It becomes one of the largest supply bases of organic tea in Fujian Province and its products enjoy protection of the state. In March 2002, the company gained the certificate of the registration of the certificate of origin from the State General Administration for Quality Supervision and Inspection and Quarantine of the People`s Pepublic of China(AQSIQ). The company holds the area of about 5. 33 million square meters, among which about 4. 62 million square meters are recognized as organic tea gardens by BCS (Germany), JAS(Japan), and NOP(U. S. A. ). The annual output of organic Wuyi Bohea reaches 60 tons, and that of organic Lapsang Souchong tea reaches 25tons, and that of common Lapsang Souchong Tea reaches 120tons, and that of organic oolong tea is over 80 tons, and that of organic white tea is almost 50 tons. It also owns a factory to refine tea, covering the area of more than 1, 500 m2 capable for 500-ton refined tea per year.
