Subject-Turmeric/ginger oleoresins
I am a farmer in the Terai region of Uttranchal,India
gr
owing Turmeric under poplar plantations, having a holding
of approx 100 acres.
As an attempt to add value to my product
at the farm, I have recently
installed a stainless steel distillation unit along with
oleoresin plant. I shall be star
ting production of turmeric oleoresin
after harvest in about a fortnight.
I am in a position to process approx 4 qtls o
f ginger/turmeric per day
yielding about 10-12 kgs of ginger oleoresin/or 35-40 kgs of turmeric
oleoresin.
Besides
above crops I shall also be processing(for oil/oleoresin)
my coriander, european dill and tuberose in near future.
