Wenzhou Jietong Ind Co. was established in 1983. It now has six member companies in the group. Located in a picturesque area at the foot of Yangdanmountain, near the mouth of the Oujing River (OuRiver), it is situated alongside highway 104, and only 50kms from Wennzhou port, and an hour by road from Wenzhou Airport. Thus communication and transport by land, sea and air is readily available. The company has branch offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and England etc. Therefore, it offices a combination of technological expertise, and commercial capability for both national and international customers.
The company's operations are broadly divided into product groups, which include: wiring harnesses and connectors for refrigerators; for TV and other consumer electronic products; for motor cycles, for automobiles and larger vehicles; JTP Speaker terminals; Headphone sockets; remote control for TV etc. antenna input devices and switches. Jietong's components are successfully exported to Europe, as well as England, Germany, Southeast Asia, Japan, Australia, Brazil etc.
In China, Jietong has won a number of awards:
(a) Best Component Manufacturer.
(b) 3rd prize for "Progress in Science & Technology" in the Zhejiang Province.
(c) The "Electronics Ministry" Excellent Products Award.
