Capro Corp.

Capro is the only company in Korea that manufactures Caprolactam. When it was established in 1969, it began its operations with an annual production capacity of 33,000 tons. To meet the increasing demand for Caprolactam, it had its initial expansion in 1989 and its second one in 2004. They began a yearly production of 240,000 tons of Caprolactam and 680,000 tons of ammonium sulfate. Other products were produced in the second half of 2004.

into a world-class manufacturer of Coprolactam, the major raw material for nylon 6. This was achieved by following the management motto of unity with harmony and work with responsibility to enhance productivity and develop technology through continued R&D efforts and the expansion of production facilities.

02_ To date, Caprolactam, the major raw material for nylon prod
ucts, has mainly been sold only to domestic companies engaged in local businesses. It plays a crucial role in the development of textile, automobile tires and engineering plastic industries. Ammonium sulfate is supplied to domestic farmers through agricultural cooperatives and is exported to Southeast Asia as a nitrogen fertilizer.
