Ningbo Vulcan Mechanical Seals Co Ltd was formed as a Joint Venture manufacturing operation with Vulcan Engineering Ltd in 1997. The company has grown into one of the largest manufacturers of mechanical seals in the RP of China.
 
NBV services the domestic market in China and deals direct in Asia, for the rest of the world we woke with our partners Vulcan Engineering Ltd to service a world wide distribution network. All of our product range is manufactured in the factory, which has been registered to ISO9001.
 
Our factory is one of the newest and most modern manufacturing units in China for mechanical seals. The three units cover 4600 m2. Unlike many other suppliers, Ningbo Vulcan Mechanical Seals Manufacturing Co Ltd produces the vast majority of components itself, with an exceptional ability to produce everything in house. This ability to produce in-house allows us to control the quality processes and guarantee better and more consistent quality than the competition. The company has advanced technology and equipment of an international standard across many aspects of processing including lapping, rubber furnaces and CNC machinery.
 
We are also one of the few companies who are able to produce Sintered Silicon Carbide in-house. A further recognition of our high technology status is " Advanced Technology Enterprise" award from the local government in Ningbo. NBV has a team of 140 people. In the offices we have a young, technology aware workforce who make use of extensive IT systems and applications. Many of our office team speaks two or three Chinese dialects and a growing number also speak English. Over one third of our staff are college or university graduates.
