Refractory Materials and Ceramics Branch of Advanced Technology and Materials Co., Ltd. was built up of Refractory Alloy Research Department of Central Steal and Iron Research Institute in 1998. It is one of the earliest units engaged in refractory alloys and materials research and development in China. Over 40 years, it has made a great achievement in the fields of research, production and application for advanced materials, and design, manufacture and construction of special equipments. It has gained 9 national invent prizes, 26 inventor's patent rights and more 40 important research results. A lot of its products satisfy the needs for military use and development of national economy.

Recently, we has made a new progress since the branch was founded. The annual production of us can reach more 600 tons. Main products of our branch include PMed products of W or Mo and their alloys, working products of W or Mo and their alloys. Mo-alloy piercing mandrel for seamless steel tube, non-water cooling protected Mo-electrodes used in fibrous glass furnace and glass melting furnace, new-type ceramics hot-extrusion die, tungsten ¨Ccopper (or silver) composites, contract materials for vacuum switches, W-Re alloy and W-Re thermocouple, W-based heavy alloys products, Cr, Cr alloy and other target materials, Cemented Carbide rolls and other products, electron and electron sealing materials, low-melting alloy, melting-auxiliary agents use for carbon and sulfur analysis, advanced ceramic powder and products etc.
