We were earlier known as ?FAL Industries Limited'originally established as FACIT Asia LTD, a joint venture in India between Forbes Group and FACIT,the famous Office Equipment Company in Sweden,in 1962.The Company started with manufacture of Mechanical Adding and Calculating machines and subsequently Mechanical Typewriters. As a part of our diversification,in 1982 started manufacturing Vacuum Cleaners. sourced technically from Electrolux,Sweden.
We are today the largest
manufacturers of Vacuum Cleaners in India and enjoy more than 85%of the market share in Floor Care Products especially domestic Vacuum Cleaners.As a part of consolidation,FAL Industries was merged with the owner Company'Forbes Gokak Ltd' and we are now a Division of the same under the name and style of Forbes Facit Engineering.
