Dai Hung Mulsan Co.,Ltd. was founded as Dai Hung Fisheries in 1972 after securing its own shellfish growing water in Koje Bay, Kyongsangnam Province which has been designated as the Designated Growing Area for producing shellfish for export under the U.S.-Korea Shellfish Sanitation Agreement.
Since then, Dai Hung has been farming and exporting m
ainly oyster and ark shell for more than twenty years.
In 1981, we completed to build the establishment equipped with the
capacity of 2,200 tons for cold storage and 20 tons per day for freezing in Tongyong City. And then the Company was reorganized as the present Dai Hung Mulsan Co., Ltd. Since 1986, the factory has been certified as an Interstate Certified Shellfish Shipper (No. Ks-7-SP) under the above-mentioned Agreement. Besides, the Company was registered in the EU Export Health Certificate List (Registration No.KORP 023) in November, 1994. Dai Hung produces wide variety of fishery products which are fresh oysters, frozen ark shell and frozen halfbeak, processed products such as breaded oyster, breaded shrimp and roasted conger eel, as well as live conger eel and flounder.
