y of berthing 5000-to-nnage freight ships beside the Haihe river,a rich supply of sodium chloride by Changlu Salt Works,and a pipeline for transporting natural gas and ethylene from Dagang Oil Field,which provide the plant with abundant raw materials and fuel for the development of marine chemicals and petro-chemicals.The ideally geographical features provide the plant with a favourable condition for the development of domestic and foreign trade.
