Our corporation was formerly China National Textiles Imp.& Exp. Corp., Zhejiang Branch. We were granted the import and export right for independent management in 1980, and in 1988, we registered as Zhejiang Textiles Imp. & Exp. Corp.

Since our establishment, we have been following our enterprise spirit of "Uniting, Pioneering, Realistic and Efficient". Our import and export business has been developing very rapidly, and the earning from foreign currency increases every year. The earning from exports has exceeded US$200 million for several years at a stretch. Good reputation, excellent services and reliable quality have won the trust of customers from places such as Hongkong, Macau, Japan, South Korea, Middle East, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, Europe and Africa. Among our customers, we have more than 20 regular customers with an annual transaction volume of US$5 million.

In the past, semi-products such as cotton/trueran yarn and grey sheeting are the main source of exports. But we have changed the pattern of exporting into one which has a comprehensive selection of processed textiles like finished fabric products, home textiles, knitwear and clothing. We have started to develop into a multiple business foreign trading company. We, therefore, have formed a high exporting capacity for product development and international competitiveness. We have been honored as Provincial Advance Unit in earning foreign curreny from foreign trading. Among our counterparts, we are one of the companies which has the highest export volume of textiles. For a long time the corporation has been among the top 500 impiort and export enterprises in China in terms of its import and export volume.

We are developing towards internationalization, industrialization and conglomeration. Our company now owns seven overseas enterprises, one of which being in Africa, and its volume of export trade amounts over US$50 million, In China, we have nine subordinate companies, five branches, two large-scale warehouses, five commodity source facotries and nearly 20 joint ventures, After years of hard working, we have formed a core made up of Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Shanghai, connecting more than ten provincial bases of commoodity source for export. More than 100 commodity source factories have established a good relationship with us in industrial and trading cooperation. This helps us to develop international markets while it also acts as a bridge between the production factory owners and the international markets.

In all these years, we have been unhesitatingly developing our business and we have been practicing strict management. This enables our company to expand healthily and steadily and ensures the rapid value increase in national asset. Presently, the total asset value of our company reaches 1.1 billion dollars. For years in succession the corporation was categorized as an enterprise with an " AAA" class credit by Bank of China, Zhejiang Branch.
