Lianyungang Lianzhong FRP Group Co., Ltd. (Lianzhong Group) was established in 1987. The headuarters of Lianzhong Group, situated in the New and High Technology Development Zone of Lianyungang City, Jiangsu Province, occupies an areas of about 100, 000 square meters and has a total assets of 1. 2 hundred million Yuan. There are seven subsidary companies operating under Lianzhong Group: FRP pipe, RP install -ation, Cooling tower, Pipe engineering contraction, Processing equpment and technology, Glassfiber and Resins.

Lianzhong Group earlier in 1987 imported the filament winding machine and technology from Italian vetroresina S. P. A. Filament wound FRP pipes and filament wound pipes sand filler have been developed the products quality has been up to the word-wide level. In 1997, it has been authorised to have the right of import and export by itself. In 1998, the product quality has been approved by China Fangyuan Product Quality Approval Committee to adopt the certifivate of ISO9001. In 1995, Lianzhong Group Importedthe complete set of large on-site vertical type filament winding equipment and technology from U. S. A. It is a large on-site filament winding machine capable of winding FRP products up to 25m in diameter and with storage capacity up to 5000m3. This is the only large on-sit vertical type filament winder in China.

Currently the enterprise employs more than 400 staff members and workers including more than 150 technical personnel and takes the leading position in technical competence of tha same sector of that industry at home.
