Ming Chi Co., Ltd.

After restoration, Taiwan society is short of material and property with livelihood in destitution. Experiencing youth at such a time, Mr. Chung Ming Yeh, the orginator of Ming Chi, with no estate in his hometown Tianwei and proficiency in particular line, oriented himself to Chinese cake cookery by learning the technique in Taipei. Mr. Yeh had spent several fruitful years in apprenticeship, planning to start a business in his hometown limited in capital. In his struggle to develop the business, he founded Sen Fa Bakery in 1958 at his san-ho-yuan an ancient three-section compound. In the 50's, industry was striding forward in result of great work opportunities and comsumption stimulation to the society.



Mr. Yeh asked for a loan from bank to establish a food plant and offically inauguarted Sen Fa Food Plant in 1969. Suffering economic contraction, the company had refined premium food and snack to please Chinese taste and also kept on R&D novel products to the world market. Under more than 10 hard and arduous years in operation, the company finally gained great approvals and demands from the public contributing to the establishment of Ming Chi Food Co., Ltd. in 1991 for comprehensive service. Take from the society and return to it, the company keeps on the reciprocity to the public for its good reputation and model in food industry.
