Huairen Hongda Refractories Company Ltd., located in the south of Datong Coal Field and the center of deposits of hard kaolinite in coal measures in the city of Huairen, specializes in manufacturing and processing kaolinite in coal measures at the large scale in the area. According to the reserves reports, the recoverable reserves of the hard kaolinite in coal measures is 9 million tons, and the amount of raw materials mined by the company is 12 thousands tons.

There are 5 calciners of 150 m3, 1 powder grinder and 1 size grading line. 9000 tons of kaolinite in coal measures were calcined  and 3000 tons of different sizes were processed in a year.
