Dalan Kimya started producing soap in 1941 with the Dalan brand green soap. Through consistency in product quality, Dalan is today the largest olive oil soap producer in the country. In 1982, Dalan started industrial machine production and introduce Dalan brand toilet soap in the market. The 1980?s are the years Dalan started exporting. Parallel to company goals, Dalan started adding different brand names to his product range, due to reason of sales policy, market movement, varying consumer expectation, distribution system, The foremost of this brands are DALAN, DIANA, CINDY, NANCY, ALARA, In second half of 1998, Dalan stepped into the cleaning sector with Delta brand detergents. Delta has an important sales trend in world market today with 25 different products. Dalan Kimya Endustri A.S. is a very old industrial organization in The Aegean. And with its increasing growth curve from the past to today, is one of the largest soap producers in the country with his capacity of 60.000 ton/year. On the other hand, Dalan actualizes a glycerin production of 4.000 ton/year, as a by-product of soap. The Dalan brand is now synonymous to green soap and the company has gained the confidence of his customers without compromising quality. The years helped the brand name to grow and new investments were made. Using the latest technology, the number of products increased day by day and Dalan has approximately 420 products. This number continues to grow due to different requirements from different consumer groups and sales policies followed abroad. Dalan progresses steadily towards being a world brand. We have a very large sales network both in the country and out of the country. As of this year we export to 139 countries. We have a business volume of approximately 45 millions dollars. Our export volume is 35 millions dollars in 2004 and we aim to increase this figure by 20 %
