Tianjin DEK Chemical Company Ltd.

Established in July 1999, Tianjin Dek Chemical Company Ltd. (referred to as Dek for short hereinafter) has a registered capital of 32 million yuan, total assets of 60 million yuan, and net assets of 40 million yuan. Its sales volume is expected to exceed 10 million yuan in 2005. At present, Dek has total staff of 130, of which employees with educational background above junior college accounting for 52%, and specialized personnel with professional technical titles accounting for 55%.

Dek produces and markets fine chemicals such as dyes, aqueous coatings and adhesive, and intermediates. The main product DEKsol serial reactive dye, at international advanced quality level, has won several awards from the state and Tianjin municipality, and was appraised as Excellent and Key Recommended Product with Reliable Quality by the Fine Chemical Specialized Committee of Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China in 2003.

Located in Dongli District, Tianjin Dek is only 8 km from Tianjin International Airport, 15 km from Tianjin Railway Station, and 45 km from Tianjin Xingang Port. The company has complete public facilities and perfect environmental protection equipment in the plant yard, and offers excellent services.

In 2004, Dek registered and established Dexin Co., in TEDA. It purchased a plot of 43, 000 m2 (10. 74 acre), and plans to invest 75 million yuan (around USD 9 million) to build a production base of fine chemicals with a production capability of 10, 000 ton.
