Kittolife Co., Ltd. specializes in Chitosan production and mass-produces enzyme Chitosan Oligosaccharide and KL-630, a cosmetic raw material. The company developed the technology for the production of its products during 3 years of cooperation with the Korean Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Marine from 1995 and the subsequent establishment of its own R&D Center and production facility.

It has acquired the KT mark for quality for Chitosan Oligosaccharide from the Korean Science and Technology Department in 1998, and in 2002 developed FACOS, a purer form of Chitosan Oligosaccharide. The company has also acquired an international patent with development of s-FACOS for medical purposes. Currently, the company employs a 32-strong workforce and has annual revenue of around US$4 million.
