Gold East Paper (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. (here inafter refer to as GEPC) is jointly made and run by Asia Pulp & Paper Co., Ltd. (the biggest pulp & paper group in Asia subordinate to Indonisa Sinar Mas Group) and Zhenjiang Light Industry Company with investment of USD1.28 billion.

GEPC will operate 2 paper machines with annual production capacity each of approximately 400,000 tones of uncoated freesheet . It also has a planned capacity to convert 200,000 tones of uncoated freesheet into cut-sized photocopier paper and plans to install an off-machine coater with annual capacity to convert 600,000 tones.

GEPC locates in Zhenjiang Dagang Economic Development Zone by the third largest port alongside Yangtse River. Back to the Yangtse River at north, facing to Huning Expressway at south, neighboring the developed area of Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou and Shanghai at east, and with the ancinent captial Nanjiang at west, GEPC enjory both convenient transportation and rich human resources, and also has many other advantages.

GEPC adopts the most advanced technology and biggest paper machines and coater in the world. Wood-free paper line and coating base paper line are imported completely from Voith-Sulzer/Germany. OMC is ordered from Valmet/Finland. Whole process takes world leading control system, including but not limit to DCS and QCS. After completion, GEPC will be the biggest modern paper mill in China, which will supply the high quality paper and the best services to printing and publishing industries.
