Established in 1988, Maxleaf, a Canada-China joint venture, is a stationery and paper gift manufacturer producing unique lines for domestic and international markets at its modern manufacturing facilities in Wuhan, Hubei. In 1998 Maxleaf opened its international headquarters in Halifax, Canada, thus marking a commitment to compete in world-wide markets.

Maxleaf's success today is due largely to its continuous emphasis on original and unique product design; Creating journals, diaries, albums, organizers, office and school stationery lines that have found exceptionally wide acceptance in the general marketplace. The company employs twenty people in research and development and design at its offices in Canada and China.
